Biography

MSc, PhD, MIFST, CBiol MIBiol

Graduate of Food Science & Technology, Agricultural University of Athens. Obtained a PhD in Food Science & Technology from University of Reading, UK.
• Senior Research Fellow at the British Institute of Food Research (IFR) for 3 years.
• Founding member of the Center for Biomimetics of the University of Reading & and member of its Academic staff (3 years).
• Director General of the Greek Dairy Organization (7 years)
• Director General of the Food Control Agency (EFET) for 3 years &
• Today Director of Total Quality & Food Safety, Member of the Board of FrieslandCampica Hellas A.E. (16 years) and has managed 4 factories in SE Europe.
President of the Association of Greek Dairy Industries (SEVGAP), member of the Board of the European Dairy Association (EDA), former Member of the Council of the Agricultural University of Athens (4 years). Member of the Board of the Association of Baby Food & Specialized Nutrition Companies of Greece (SEPTEDE). Vice president of the Union for Education, Research & Development in Greece (PRO.PAIDI.A).
