Burkl Magnus

Magnus is a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s Corporate & Institutional Banking and Wealth & Asset Management practices based in Frankfurt. Magnus is an expert on public and private Capital Markets, working with all market participants across the buy- and sell-side as well as market infrastructures and capital markets data and technology providers.

Magnus is a frequent speaker at Capital Markets industry forums. He has contributed to the Bank of England’s Future of Finance Report (2019) and co-authored Oliver Wyman’s reports on the Securities Services Industry (2020) and the Consolidated Tape in Europe (2021). In 2019, Magnus was the Global Chief of Staff for Oliver Wyman’s Corporate and Institutional Banking Practice.

Magnus is a CFA Charterholder and has studied at London Business School and European Business School, where he was a scholar of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
